I have a two-page spread in this week’s edition of Adweek Magazine, accompanying an article about retails businesses using subtle perfume as a sort of olfactory branding to draw people into their stores.
Super quick turnaround on this guy — assignment comes in Friday night, final goes out Tuesday night.
The magazine is printed with scratch-and-sniff ink over the perfume areas, which is grass scented. Fun!

RIP Jean Giraud (“Moebius”) 1938-2012. A legendary artist who not only dominated comics with amazing imagination and skill, but also visually influenced some of my favorite movies (Blade Runner! Alien! 5th Element!)
The tumblr Quenched Consciousness has a huge archive of his art, where I reblogged this piece from. If you haven’t experienced his work before, take a look. You can buy some of his books from Moebius’ site, and Amazon.
Let’s all aspire to be as creative, prolific, and visionary as he was.

Moebius is one of, if not my favorite artist. I can’t even begin to list the artists, films, videogames, and comics that were influenced by this amazing man. He should’ve lived forever.
